Monday 4th February. We were very excited when the paramedic came to tell us about his job. It was so much fun getting to drive inside the ambulance.

On Friday 26th October we dressed up for Hallowe’en. Thank you to all who came to read with your child in nursery as we launched our ‘Big Bedtime Read’. We had a very busy morning making chocolate apples and finished off with a party.

On Monday 22nd October we welcomed Cantata School of music to Nursery. The children had a great morning singing songs about Autumn, moving to music and playing musical instruments.

Our topic is Autumn. Could children please bring in chestnuts, acorns, pine cones and Autumn leaves. We use these for creative activities and other areas of play. This month we  went for an Autumn walk to collect leaves. We picked some apples from our apple tree and used them to bake a yummy apple cake. We have been busy planting vegetables and daffodil bulbs, a big thank you to Aoife’s Uncle Sean for helping us to plant.

September has been a very busy month. We have been busy settling into life in nursery school learning new routines, making friends and having lots of fun.
